About Me

As a mom, I've been through the trenches. As a photographer I want to strive to bring affordable, family oriented, lifestyle sessions to our community.

I fell in love with photography as a little girl. My grandma would buy me all of the disposable cameras I could ask for, and to this day I can still find a handful of random photos of my stuffed animals having a tea party, in her house.

As I got a little older I really found that I had a talent for capturing the real, natural, look of things. As a pre-teen, I competed and won in many youth photography contests at county and state level, had a full page editorial in our local news paper, featuring my photos, and had my photo published on a local politicians, post card that was sent out to every resident in our county!

As a teenager and adult, I have been a second shooter for many weddings, along side my extremely talented cousin, Carol Gottschalk, owner of Carol Gottschalk Photography.

Now I have finally decided to take my passion a little bit further and step out of my comfort zone. Specializing in nature, sports, & family photography, I'm excited to share my love of photography with you, as well being able to help support the Youth in my community by giving back to those involved in Agriculture. Southern Copper Photography is a proud sponsor of the Putnam County Fair & the Palatka Horseman's Club.
